On 23 February 2015, a public meeting was held at the Frontline Club Georgia. The subject of the meeting was the fluctuatin of Lari exchange rates. The following experts were invitied to the meeting: Archil Gersamia, Lekso Aleksishvili, Nino Evgenidze, Giorgi Bakradze.
The meeting was also attended by the Institute professors and administration staff members. One of the discussed topics at the meeting was the reasons underlying the changing exchange rates of national currencies in the Caucasus region with regard to USD and Euro. Information on the said issues was broadcasted through Radio GIPA.
School of Governance of the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs plans to hold the public meetings of similar nature in the future as well to discuss the matters important to the society.
