On May 1-2, 2024, a two-day training session on "Measuring Impacts of Agricultural Programs" was held as part of the "Initiative 50X2030," under collaboration between the Department of Rural Development and Vocational Education (DRDVE) of GIPA and the International Fund for Rural Development (IFAD).
The training session was attended by representatives from various organizations, including the Agrarian Issues Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, the Ministry of Environment Protection and Agriculture, the Evaluation and Professional Association (MELPA), USAID, IFAD interdisciplinary experts, and GIPA students and representatives of academic personnel.
A panel discussion on Monitoring and Evaluation systems in Georgia was moderated by Michael Steiner from IFAD, with active participation from trainees and panel members Mariam Gaimarjvashvili _Agriculture and Rural Development Policy Coordination Division, Agriculture and Rural Development Policy Department - MEPA, Maia Guntsadze-USAID Middle Corridor Transportation and Logistics Program - Merl/CIA Manager, ALTE University Professor, Ana Kvitradze -Director, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Professionals Association - MELPA,and Nani Macharashvili-GIPA professor.
The seminar was conducted with the support of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
