The United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Georgian National Animal Health Program is being successfully implemented in partnership with Colorado State University (CSU). The vision of the Georgian National Animal Health Program was to achieve a continuous and lasting improvement in the health and welfare of animals which meets the needs of stakeholders, enables the safe production of food, improves public health and sustains the rural economy. The primary goal of the Program was to promote private veterinary sector development through developing regional veterinary associations with appropriate incentives in the regions.
