On February 28 and 29, 2024, GIPA – the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs – presented a series of training sessions for university Ph.D. students on Research Integrity and Ethics. The training was carried out within the framework of the EU-funded Erasmus+ CBHE Strand 3 project, Responsible Conduct of Research – Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities (ETHICS). Twenty-four representatives from GIPA's Ph.D. programs in Public Administration and Political Science attended the training. The sessions were led by the Head of the Research Department, Nani Macharashvili. The doctoral students participated in simulations about research misconduct and violations of research integrity. Additionally, they were updated with information about the updates presented in the European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity, 2023 revised version, Research Ethics Committees’ structure and operational management, as well as details of authorship and publishing ethics.
