The conference/workshop, "Innovative Methods in Pedagogy," took place on November 16, 2023, at the Frontline Club. Organized by the Teaching Excellence Center (TEC) the unit of the Human Resources Management Department of the Institute of Public Affairs of Georgia (GIPA), this center specializes in providing short-term training programs for the university's administrative, academic, and invited staff across various disciplines. The primary objective is to enhance teaching methodologies and foster professional development tailored to the staff's needs and requires.
Professor Jean-Charles Cailliez, Vice President of Innovation at Lille Catholic University, presided over the conference/workshop. The primary aim of this training was to acquaint GIPA's staff with innovative teaching techniques and strategies for their practical implementation. The first part of the training consisted of a presentation where the speaker shared personal experiences and introduced diverse innovative teaching methods to the participants. The second part encompassed a workshop session, enabling the trainer to practically demonstrate the mentioned methods with the audience. The conference/workshop was conducted interactively to promote engagement among participants.
