Lectures by Giorgi Margvelashvili at GIPA

H.E. Giorgi  Margvelashvili - the forth president of Georgia  will teach  elective  course " Politics" for the MA  level GIPA  students . The course aims to   teach  students  both practical and theoretical aspects of politics. It will discuss  Georgian politics and  those aspects that shaped and still shape Georgian political thought. The topics will touch upon philosophical, historical, economical, social, political, international and  other  dimensions of the Political discourse.

During the course  students will cover following topics : the role of an individual  during  social and political   processes;the principles of rule of law, equality, power balance,  national integrity, freedom , diversity, constitutionality and national resilience. 
Simultaneously  in the classroom the  aspects of current political and economical developments will be discussed and evaluated.

The number of the  students  are limited to 25 students. Prospective  students will be selected  based on their applications. Application should be sent  till 30 January   on this email address: gipa.elective@gipa.ge

Selection criteria: 50% GPA და 50% evaluation of the application. Selected students will be notified on 1 February..
