A brief description of the experience

Ph.D. in Medical Sciences. His practical experience related to higher educational institutions includes various managerial positions. He has more than 20 years of experience in project management and research and is the author of 17 books and more than 400 publications in both Georgian and international refereed scientific journals (10h-index SCOPUS). Has 25 years of consulting, capacity building and training experience in the areas of health policy, health economics, health sociology, global health, insurance. He is the editor-in-chief of the international refereed journal "Healthcare Policy, Economics and Sociology". In 2018, the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation Award "Best Scientist of the Year in Life Sciences and Health Sciences" was awarded. He is a member of the editorial board of many international refereed journals; Since 2001, he has been a member of the International Association of Health Economists (IHEA). You are a participant of more than one exchange project and holder of a study grant/scholarship, both locally and internationally. Owner and supervisor of not one scientific project/grant for the development of science.
