Keti Shubashvili

International Human Rights Law Lecturer

Ketevan Shubashvili graduated from the University of Essex (Colchester, United Kingdom) in 2013, where she earned LL.M. degree in International Human Rights Law (Open Society Foundation Scholarship). In 2011 she was awarded Master’s degree in International Law from Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA). In 2009 she graduated from Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, faculty of law.
Currently Ketevan is the head of Equality Department at the Office of Public Defender of Georgia. She has experience in litigation before the European Court of Human Rights. In 2013 she underwent a trainship at the European Court of Human Rights (Strasbourg, France). Since 2015 she lectures International Human Rights Law at different universities in Georgia.
