The Research Department of the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs coordinates activities of scientific research at the Institute. Its structural units comprise the PhD program in Social Sciences, Quality Assurance Service and the Center for Excellence in Teaching.
By cooperating with all of the Institute’s schools, the Research Department aims at ensuring the overall operation of the PhD program while supporting the professional training of academic staff, strengthening international cooperation in the field of research, maintaining quality assurance and increasing the depth and breadth of GIPA’s academic environment.
