Associate Professor / Countries in transition Policy, Public Policy/Policy Analysis
Alexander CHKUASELI, Diplomat, Associate Professor at Georgian Institute of Public Affairs (GIPA). He is lecturing Countries in transition Policy, Public Policy/Policy Analysis, as well as Security challenges in modern Europe. At the same time He is invited Lecturer at the David Aghmashenebeli National Defense Academy of Georgia. He has deep and rich experience in public- especially diplomatic Service, included abroad at the Georgian Embassies of Several Countries. In his 18-year career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, he worked at various diplomatic positions and served, as Head of Consular Section, Counselor at the Embassy of Georgia to the Slovak Republic. With his participation, Embassy of Georgia to the Republic of Slovenia was founded, and he served as a Head of Diplomatic Mission/Charge d’ Affaires ad interim of Georgia to the Republic of Slovenia. Later on, he was assigned at different high positions (Deputy Director of the Department, Director of the Department) at the Ministry of Defense of Georgia and now serves at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.
